Works are now complete at the Waltham Forest Town Hall residential development in Walthamstow where we provided Employer’s Agent and Clerk of Works services for The Riverside Group. The scheme was delivered by Vistry.

About the project

The development delivered a mixed-tenure residential scheme on and around the site of Waltham Forest Town Hall in Walthamstow, east London. The scheme included affordable and market-sale homes, with Riverside taking some of the social units. The project sits within a heritage-sensitive setting, with the retention of the listed town hall building forming part of the wider masterplan.

Latest progress

Block C was handed over to Riverside in March 2026 and residents are now in occupation. Our active contract duties have concluded, and we are currently undertaking defects monitoring during the liability period.

Our role

We provided Employer’s Agent and Clerk of Works services throughout the construction and handover phase.

Our Employer’s Agent chaired monthly progress meetings, managed contract communications, and certified valuations. Our Clerk of Works carried out regular site inspections to ensure quality standards were maintained throughout the construction through to handover.
