Eng is an Associate Director, Quantity Surveyor, based in our London office, having joined us in June 2005. An MRICS-qualified professional holding a BSc (Hons) and HND, Eng brings over 20 years of construction industry experience to his role, with a strong track record across the residential, healthcare, office and educational sectors.
Throughout his career at Potter Raper, Eng has progressed from Quantity Surveyor through to Senior Quantity Surveyor before reaching his current position as Associate Director, a journey that reflects both his technical depth and his commitment to the business. As a senior member of the team, he delivers the full range of pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services and plays an important role in guiding and developing less experienced colleagues.
Eng’s project experience spans a broad range of sectors and scales, from small private residential schemes to large and complex healthcare and education projects. His work has included commissions for some well-known clients and institutions, and his involvement across different sectors has allowed him to build a versatile and well-rounded body of knowledge.
Over his 20+ years with Potter Raper, Eng has:
- Progressed from Quantity Surveyor to Associate Director, taking on increasing responsibility across pre and post contract Quantity Surveying services.
- Delivered major healthcare projects, including schemes for Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital and Frimley Park Hospital.
- Provided Quantity Surveying services in the education sector for University College London and City, University of London.
- Delivered office fit-out projects for major corporate clients including BP.
- Worked across residential schemes ranging from small private developments to larger mixed-use projects.
- Mentored and supported junior colleagues, supporting their professional development across the business.
