Simon Daniels

Chairman

Simon has transitioned from Managing Director into the role of Chairman in May 2024 as he embarks on a well-deserved retirement journey. He started at Potter Raper in 1983 and became a Partner in 1990, playing a key role in establishing the London office in 1992. Simon will continue to work for Potter Raper but on a reduced time, remaining based in the Central London office.

Simon is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor by training but has also completed the RICS Diploma in Project Management.

His experience has mainly been in the commercial sector on projects such as the £190 million Sky Studios Elstree campus, the £200 million Bristol Temple Island scheme, the £103 million office redevelopment of 245 Hammersmith Road and the £50 million new office buildings at Newcastle Helix.

He also specialises in carrying out Due Diligence/Fund Monitor roles and was involved as such on the FA’s National Football Centre at St George’s Park, the new North/South stand at Headingley, the 2 million sq ft distribution centre for Amazon at Tilbury, other distribution centres for Next and Waitrose and student accommodation schemes at Cambridge, Southampton and Lincoln Universities. He also carried out the Due Diligence on the £170 million Tinbergen development at Oxford University, as well as the new Fusion Development Research building at Culham Science Centre Oxfordshire.

Within the public sector, Simon was the Director involved in the £180 million Building Schools for the Future programme for Haringey Council.

On behalf of the company, Simon sits on the Bank of England Decision Maker Panel.

Simon is keen on fly fishing and golf when away from the office.

Robert Humphrey

Managing Director

Robert is the Managing Director who is based in the Beckenham office and has worked at Potter Raper since 2002. He overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our employee ownership trust business. He provides leadership, guidance, and vision to ensure the company’s continued success and growth. Additionally, he drives initiatives to enhance client relationships, develop new business opportunities, and maintain the company’s reputation for excellence in the construction consultancy industry.

In addition to his business management duties, Robert chairs various Joint Venture Partnership Boards, most notably the collaboration between Peabody and Berkeley Homes for the delivery of circa 2,000 residential units in Thamesmead.

Robert also sits on the Future of London Expert Panel, providing expert advice to London Boroughs on varying construction matters.

Robert enjoys relaxing with his family, all sports, travel and cooking.

David Spiller

Director

David has worked for Potter Raper since 2001 having joined whilst still training for his degree. He is a Board Director with overall management responsibility for our Quantity Surveying team in the Beckenham Office, as well as being the company’s Financial Director.

As a Fellow of the RICS and former teaching assistant at a primary school, David is actively involved in training. Having been an APC Assessor for many years, he regularly provides APC support to our staff and clients, as well as other structured training sessions for our client teams.

Primarily working on residential and education projects for public sector clients, David has delivered schemes in excess of £50m. He is an expert in residential refurbishment, including sustainability measures and works involving Leaseholder Billing where he has acted as both Expert Witness and witness of fact at First Tier Tribunals and at Adjudication. In addition, David manages various new-build residential projects including infill sites, large estate regeneration schemes and rooftop developments, including advice on asset management planning, cost benefit analysis and contractor procurement.

His project portfolio includes the £42m residential refurbishment and overcladding of the Tustin Estate for the London Borough of Southwark, the Thurrock ‘Transforming Homes’ programme of residential refurbishment at £10m p.a. and new-build developments for Westminster Housing, including the £20m Beachcroft House residential care home and the £40m developments of Ashbridge, Ashmill and Cosway Street.

David enjoys spending time with his family, golf and gaming and is particularly proud that he can still beat his son on Mario Kart.

Nicola Tilbury

Director

Nicola is a Board Director and manages our Brighton office, which she established in 2017, and has been with Potter Raper since 2009.

Nicola has been in the industry for over 30 years and is a Charted Project Management Surveyor with experience in Quantity and Building Surveying and has a special interest in procurement with a LLM in Construction Law. She has worked for sub-contractors, main contractors, clients and consultants, so can provide well-rounded advice.

With a cross-sector background including healthcare (Frimley Park Hospital), industrial (Church Commissioners archive centre), commercial (New England House, Brighton), residential (Victoria Road) and listed buildings (Lewes Castle Wall). Nicola is an accomplished Project Manager and Employer’s Agent, working on both new-build and refurbishment schemes for our clients.

Nicola has specialist knowledge of estate regeneration and has worked on schemes such as Westhorpe Gardens (Hendon), Kings Crescent (Hackney), Moulsecoomb Regeneration (Brighton) and Kennaway Estate (Stoke Newington).

Nicola leads our Learning and Development programmes, is an RICS Assessor and acts as a mentor for the Future of London. She also sits on the committee of the Constructing Excellence Sussex Club.

Nicola has a passion for long-distance walking and her Welsh Terrier. You can also occasionally find her roller skating along Madeira Drive in Brighton!

Aaron Baker

Director

Aaron is a Board Director in the Central London office. He joined Potter Raper in 2009 and was made a Partner in 2015.

Aaron is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and has gained diverse experience throughout his professional career. He currently works in various sectors including commercial, education, residential, industrial and hotel and leisure.

He currently manages both cost and project management commissions having delivered works for Commercial Developers and London Landed Estates, including the £10 million commercial project with façade retention in Dover Street, London; the £7 million redevelopment of four townhouses in New Cavendish Street, including façade retention; and the refurbishment of two Grade II listed townhouses in Harley Street.

He also specialises in Due Diligence and Fund Monitoring for institutional investors having delivered Sunderland City Hall (190,000 ft2), TFL Office International Quarter Stratford (280,000 ft2), the 150-bed Marriott Hotel and Veterinarian School Keele University, the FA’s National Football Centre at St George’s Park, the new North/South Stand at Headingly, 1- 2 million sq ft distribution centres for Amazon, Next, Tesco and Waitrose, and student accommodation schemes in Cambridge, UAL, Southampton, Queen Mary and Lincoln Universities.

He also carried out the Due Diligence on the £170 million Life and Mind Building and the 130,000ft2 laboratory buildings at Begbroke Science Park, both for Oxford University, as well as the new Fusion Development Research building for the UK Atomic Energy Authority at Culham Science Centre, Oxfordshire.

Aaron is a keen mountain biker and enjoys watching sporting events.

Paul Denny

Director

Paul is a Board Director who splits his time between our London and Colchester offices, and has worked at Potter Raper since re-joining the company in 1997. He has been responsible for the Colchester office since 2007 and oversees a variety of Quantity Surveying, Bank Monitoring, Employer’s Agent, Project Manager and Principal Designer commissions.

Paul has significant experience in the residential sector, completing both private and public housing for a variety of Clients. He works with a number of Banks / Funds Institutions in providing Monitoring Services and Employer’s Agent works for Housing Associations. Paul also works extensively in the education sector providing advice for both new-build and refurbishment schemes.

Paul likes spending time with his family and walking the dog. He is a keen spectator for most sports and enjoys a round of golf.

Joe Parker

Director

Joe is a Board Director, based in the Central London office and has worked at Potter Raper since early 2004.

Joe is a member of the Association of Project Managers (MAPM) and member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), having initially trained as a Quantity Surveyor. He carries out Project Management, Employer’s Agent, Contract Administration and Quantity Surveying commissions and has considerable experience within the commercial, education, retail, healthcare and leisure sectors.

Joe’s experience in the commercial sector has included key projects such as the £190 million Sky Studios Elstree campus, the £103 million office redevelopment of 245 Hammersmith Road and the £50 million new office buildings at Newcastle Science Central (Lumen and Spark).

Within the public sector, Joe was the Project Director involved in the £180 million Building Schools for the Future programme for Haringey Council.

His specialist experience is diverse and covers Partnering and Framework Agreements, Construction Claims and Disputes, Lifecycle Costing, Procurement and Delivery Strategies, PRINCE2 Methodology, Fast track projects and multiple project delivery.

Joe leads our company’s Equality and Diversity panel and is heavily involved in guiding our staff in their career development.

Joe likes spending time with his family, golf, rugby, wine tasting, cooking and travelling. He is also a Freeman of the City of London and currently the Master of the Worshipful Company of Joiners and Ceilers.

Sandra Worth

Director

Sandra originally worked for Potter Raper between 1998 and 2008 as an Associate Partner and returned in 2014 after spending time working as a Principal Projects Officer for the NHS. In 2020 Sandra was promoted to Director and helps run the Quantity Surveying department in Beckenham alongside David Spiller.

She has gained a wealth of experience in all aspects of Quantity Surveying services over the last 37 years, working primarily in the residential, healthcare and education sectors. Her experience working for the NHS has given her valuable insight into understanding projects from a client perspective. 

She provides financial management and cost control pre-contract on several large-scale residential developments for both Local Authorities and Housing Associations, whilst providing guidance and support to our team of Quantity Surveyors in the Beckenham office. Her project portfolio includes a £195m Joint Venture at West Thamesmead and the £315m redevelopment of Holloway Prison.

She specialises in cost planning for masterplans and providing support through the procurement of Joint Venture schemes including agreement of Package Prices and formulas and worked examples for the calculations of Put and Call contracts and overage calculations etc. 

Sandra also provides a programme for work experience placements for both our clients and local schools and has spent time in schools promoting the industry for the past five years. She also spent five years as a Parent Governor serving on the Building and Finance Committee of a Primary School. 

Sandra enjoys reading and travelling, particularly to Italy, where she has family.

Toby Martin-Jay

Director

Toby is a Director in our 33 strong Employer’s Agent team, based in our Beckenham office.

Toby joined Potter Raper in early 2020, with over 25 years of extensive experience delivering complex residential and mixed-use developments for both private developers, and on behalf of clients. Project sizes have ranged from 50 units to multi-phased schemes of over 1,700 units. Residential unit tenure types include private, affordable, PRS, student, later living and extra care. A wide range of associated space use classifications including commercial, community use, education, cinemas, hotels and manufacturing, all contracted through a broad range of procurement routes. 

As lead Employer’s Agent and Joint Venture Supervisor for LLPs whilst at Potter Raper, Toby has undertaken extensive pre-contract work to contract and recent projects such as Vulcan Wharf in Stratford (LLP joint venture development comprising 457 mixed tenure units in a multi-tower development over an extensive commercial space), Blackhorse Road, Walthamstow (359 affordable unit joint venture multi-phase development with complex enabling works required to unlock the development of the site), Glengall Road, Southwark (170 mixed tenure units on complex compact site, including retention and incorporation of a number of existing warehouse building facades in the design and an existing 12 storey brick chimney), as well as the delivery of the first phase of the 1,200 unit build to rent tenure Cherry Park, Stratford development for Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield.

Before working at Potter Raper, notable projects delivered for clients have included 161 mixed tenure Seward Street development in Clerkenwell which was one of the first joint venture schemes in the affordable housing sector, the development of a multi-award-winning affordable housing scheme atop a new cinema complex in the heart of Walthamstow, and the 600-unit flagship Fish Island urban regeneration scheme in Hackney. Previously as a Developer, Toby also worked on several high-profile large-scale phased residential developments, including the St Georges Wharf, Vauxhall (1,400 units) and Royal Arsenal, Woolwich (1,700 units) developments whilst at the Berkeley Group. 

Toby enjoys spending time with his family, with other interests including tennis, cooking, science fiction, poetry and almost anything mechanical.

Tom Rose

Director

Tom joined Potter Raper in 2010 and became Director in May 2019. He is a Chartered Surveyor and leads a team of 33 Employer’s Agents in the Beckenham Office.

Prior to joining Potter Raper, Tom transitioned from a career as a Commercial Property Chartered Surveyor to become a Project Manager. His expertise spans schemes of all sizes and tenures, from infill sites to estate regeneration, covering all Affordable tenures, high-spec Private Sale, and Older Persons Housing.

In addition to his role as a Project Manager, Tom is also our IT Director, overseeing our cloud services, CMap, software subscriptions, hardware procurement, IT training, and the management of our Project Certificate and Workload Resource Management tools.

Tom enjoys spending time with his family, wild camping in the woods, occasional bouts of yoga and cycling, cooking, baking bread, fermenting sauerkraut, listening to music, going to gigs and festivals, reading whenever he can and playing the guitar.

Richard Chisnall

Director

Richard originally worked for Potter Raper between 1995 and 2011 and returned in 2018 as an Associate. In 2019, Richard was promoted to Director and operates out of our Colchester office.

Richard has in excess of 25 years’ experience working in private practice, providing all aspects of Quantity Surveying primarily in the commercial, education, healthcare, office and residential sectors. As well as providing core Quantity Surveying services, Richard also undertakes Contract Administration, Employer’s Agent, Fund Monitoring and Expert Witness roles.

Richard enjoys relaxing with family and friends, watching and occasionally participating in sport. More often than not, he can be seen on the touchlines cheering on his two sons.

Chris Spiller

Director

Chris is the Board Director responsible for Building Surveying and is based in the Beckenham office. He has worked at Potter Raper since 2006.

He has been involved in a wide range of both Contract and Professional Surveying Services for Public and Private Sector Clients. Whilst his experience is predominantly residential, he has also managed many other projects in the public and private sectors for a variety of clients at all stages. 

As part of his Building Surveying background, Chris specialises in several areas. These include traditional and non-traditional construction types, detailed damp and mould defects analysis reports, heritage and conservation matters, decarbonisation/retrofit and the management of large capital works programmes.

Some recent notable commissions include a non-traditional housing refurbishment contract containing structural, energy efficiency and aesthetic upgrades on behalf of Thurrock Borough Council, the management of Hyde’s defect analysis technical services framework and the repair and partial restoration of Dorset Hall, a Grade II listed Georgian building formerly used by the Suffragette Movement. 

For the last 10 years he has also been the Strategic Project Manager for Thurrock Council, overseeing their £100m+ Transforming Homes Capital Works Contract, where he is making provisions to plan a further 5-year programme to build on the successes to date.

Whilst always ensuring knowledge of current legislation, he is continually adapting to changes and leading on necessary innovations. This currently includes the industry’s decarbonisation drive, including residential PAS 2035 and non-residential PAS 2038 retrofit and associated services. 

Further breath of experience includes surveys and associated works in connection with the Building Safety Act 2022, with a particular focus on the golden thread and associated electronic data recording.

As well as Chris’ Building Surveying management and leadership duties, he is a strong contributor to ensuring corporate social value responsibilities are fully complied with, often helping to organise and participate in events and other contributions. 

Due to his strong technical background, Chris is also responsible for the extensive laser scanning and 2D/3D drawing/modelling services in his department. 

Chris enjoys going to the gym, visiting English Heritage sites and studying anything car related.

Emma Woodford

Director

Emma is a Director based in our Beckenham office and has worked at Potter Raper since 2014, joining as an Employer’s Agent.

Emma carries out Project Management, Employer’s Agent and Contract Administration commissions which involve delivering strategic and high-profile schemes for a wide range of Clients.

Her experience focuses on delivering much needed Affordable Homes on projects such as the £197m Lombard Square Scheme with Peabody and Berkeley Homes in West Thamesmead, the £300m redevelopment of Holloway Prison, £45m Store Road Scheme for Hyde Housing and strategic involvement with the London Boroughs of Newham and Wandsworth for their 1,000 New Homes targets.

Emma’s specialist experience encompasses a wide range of experience with an ability to deliver high-density, multi-tenure schemes from feasibility through to completion. She is a pre-contract specialist with extensive knowledge of the latest design and quality standards and building regulations. She has significant pre and post-contract experience in the commercial and public sectors, with extensive housing experience embracing the latest JCT forms of contract, negotiating bespoke Development Agreements and delivering complex land deals. 

Emma enjoys travelling, hiking and visiting as many beaches as she can get to with her two Hungarian Vizslas and, sometimes, her husband as well.

William Armstrong

Director

William Armstrong is the Director in charge of Health, Safety, and Environment, overseeing CDM, H&S, Fire and Building Safety across all five offices. With a comprehensive background in project risk management and compliance, William specialises in Principal Designer/CDM services and Health and Safety consultancy for Principal Contractors, Local Authorities and Housing Associations across the UK. His recent focus has been on developing our Building Safety Act services, ensuring that all clients and duty holders adhere to the latest legislative standards.

William’s extensive experience includes managing high-risk residential, leisure and commercial projects through design and construction and the development and auditing of ISO Management Systems (ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001). His notable project portfolio features the management of significant developments such as the £12.5 million Victoria Road housing project, the £8 million Coppetts Road development, and the £150 million Free Wharf housing development.

Outside of work, William is an avid sportsman with a passion for outdoor activities, particularly kayaking and mountaineering. He also dedicates part of his free time to volunteering with the Dogs Trust and assisting military veterans transitioning from military to civilian life, reflecting his commitment to community service and animal welfare.

Matt Gregory

Director

Matt is a Director based in the Central London office. He joined Potter Raper in 2012 and was appointed Associate Director in 2021 and Director in 2023.

Matt has over 15 years’ experience focused on the delivery of large-scale projects for a number of institutional-grade Developers and Funds. Key commercial sector projects Matt has managed include the 150,000 sq ft Tempo office building in Maidenhead and the redevelopment of the 50,000 sq ft Victoria Gate office redevelopment in Woking. Outside the commercial sector, Matt’s recent experience includes the delivery of a 24-bedroom Grade II listed boutique hotel and 18 apartments over four separate Victorian/Edwardian townhouses for the London Landed Estates.

He also specialises in carrying out the Due Diligence/Fund Monitor roles and was involved in the new North/South stand at Headingley Stadium and the 280,000 sq ft office building for TfL at the International Quarter, Stratford.

Matt is a keen golf player and spectator.

Gareth Howell

Director

Gareth is a Director based in the Central London office. He joined Potter Raper in 2021 and was appointed Director in 2023. He specialises in high profile and complex projects across the UK.

Gareth has over 15 years’ experience in project management, holds an MSc in Property Development and is a Chartered Surveyor.

His experience is primarily in the commercial sector, working on projects such as the £200 million Bristol Temple Island regeneration scheme and the Bushfield Masterplan, which aims to create a one million square foot sustainable mixed-use development in Winchester. He has also advised on the £190 million Sky Studios Elstree Campus. Previously, Gareth worked on the Salisbury Square development for the City of London, a £300 million Civic Quarter providing flagship legal and police facilities and high-end commercial office space. In the leisure sector, he delivered the refurbishment of the iconic “home of premieres” Odeon in Leicester Square.

Gareth also carries out development monitoring assignments for funders. He has an interest in how emerging technology can help improve our experience of the built environment and has experience in delivering highly successful ‘plug and play’ office projects.

Gareth enjoys watching his favourite football team, spending time with his family, cycling and outdoor activities.

Claire Flowers

Partnerships Director

Claire, our Partnerships Director, boasts over 20 years of invaluable experience in the housing sector. Specialising in creating effective partnerships, Claire helps support clients to establish, execute and achieve results through the setup of successful collaborations.

Claire’s skills and experience enable her to assist clients in exploring different delivery routes and implementing them successfully. With a profound understanding of the operational environment in both the public and private sectors, Claire has worked directly for Local Authorities, Housing Associations, and the GLA to develop successful implementation strategies tailored to each organisations unique challenges. 

One of Claire’s notable achievements is the success of the ‘Cambridge Investment Partnership’, an equal partnership between Cambridge City Council and Hill Investment Partnerships. Claire’s approach was one of pragmatism, team work and ensuring good governance which enabled the partnership to flourish and meet its objectives. Under Claire’s leadership, this partnership successfully delivered over 1000 new homes in less than five years, significantly impacting the Cambridge housing landscape. This achievement resulted in the team securing “Development Team of the Year” award at the Inside Housing Awards in 2021.

Claire’s approach is grounded in the importance of customised solutions. She recognises that each client circumstance will have different challenges and recommendations, and she enjoys devising strategies that align with specific needs and objectives.

Rob Hayes

Director

Rob has been working at Potter Raper since 2020 and was promoted to Associate Director in 2023, Project Director in 2024 and Director in 2025.

Rob is an experienced Quantity Surveyor who has delivered a variety of complex schemes within the residential, commercial, education, retail, and Film and TV sectors. He has extensive experience in residential developments of all tenures, including co-living, and build-to-rent. Projects Rob has worked on include Sky Studios Elstree South, the new £190 million state-of-the-art film and TV studio, Sutton High School masterplan for The Girls’ Day School Trust, as well as significant projects for various Higher Education institutions.

Outside of work, Rob enjoys rugby, football, and golf.

Michael Bull

Director

Michael is a Director in our Cambridge office and has over 15 years experience providing Employer’s Agent and Joint Venture supervisor services in the educational, residential and healthcare sectors. Throughout his career he has managed a wide range of projects both pre and post contract, focussing primarily on joint ventures, land led deals and special purpose vehicles.

He has a vast knowledge in large regenerations with a spear head focus to risk management, procurement and contracting. Michael enjoys unlocking schemes and assisting clients to make them viable. Michael project portfolio features notable ventures such as the £17.5 million Aylesborough Close project, the £40.5 million Frankham Street (phase 1 and 2) project and £65 million Cromwell Road project.

He started the Cambridge office 5 years ago and developed a team of Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors that now service a selection of clients including Housing Associations and Local Authorities. Outside of work, Michael enjoys travelling, power kites, kayaking, the saxophone and running.

George Bennett

Project Director

George joined Potter Raper in 2009 and progressed to the role of Associate Director in 2021 and Project Director in 2024. Throughout his tenure, he has primarily focused on the residential and leisure sectors.

While at Potter Raper, George has attained membership in the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Association of Project Managers and completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Surveying. His work has predominantly revolved around the residential sector, encompassing a variety of projects ranging from small, tight infill sites to larger mixed-use developments featuring diverse unit types. 

George’s project portfolio boasts notable ventures such as the £155 million Nightingale Estate project, the £147 million Grange Farm Regeneration project, and the £54 million King’s Crescent phase 1 & 2 project. 

Outside of work, George enjoys sports of all kinds and spending quality time with his family.

Phil Newsham

Project Director

Phil joined Potter Raper as a Senior Project Manager in 2021 and was promoted to Associate Director in 2023 and Project Director in 2024.

Phil has over 15 years cost and project management experience within consultancies and working directly for a Client Developer, predominately in the office and commercial, retail, residential and educational sectors.

His experience means that he has exposure to project delivery from multiple perspectives, and can provide specialist experience in contract administration, NABERS, BREEAM, brief development, master planning of capital expenditure, programme and stakeholder management, local authority approval including planning, S106, S278, highways land swap and walkways agreement.

Schemes Phil has been involved in include Sky Studios Elstree, the new state-of-the-art film and TV studio, 1000 Hillswood Drive (a high-end office refurbishment scheme), and Oxford Life and Mind Building (construction of new state of the art labs and office space for Oxford University).

Outside of work, Phil enjoys multiple sports, taking part in marathons and assault course races and renovating Victorian properties.

Simon Foulkes

Project Director

Simon joined Potter Raper in 2018, becoming an Associate Director in 2021 and Project Director in 2024. With over 13 years of professional consultancy experience in the construction industry, he has worked extensively with Local Government, Housing Associations, Private Developers and Contractors, primarily across London and the South-East.

He has a background as an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) prior to evolving into a Project Manager and Employer’s Agent, and his expertise bridges technical knowledge with strategic project management acumen. His project experience and expertise lies in the design coordination, procurement and contract management of complex construction projects from inception to completion within the residential sector. These include a wide range of undertakings, from complex new build infill sites to larger mixed-use developments, major internal and external refurbishments, conversions, and estate maintenance (Major Works) projects. These projects typically encompass a build cost ranging between £300k and £55 million.

Simon’s project portfolio features notable ventures such as the £53.3m Glengall Road mixed-use development project to the £13.4m Watford Infill Site Programme. 

Outside of work, Simon enjoys an active lifestyle through fitness training and has a keen interest in rugby.

Ken Hannah

Project Director

Ken is a Project Director who works within the Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) Department. A Chartered Building Engineer, Ken joined Potter Raper in 2013 with a MBA, BSc (Hons) in Construction Engineering, and a Master’s Degree in Managing Interdisciplinary Design Teams in the Built Environment (IDBE) at Wolfson College, Cambridge University.

Appointed to assist the HS&E Department to manage the CDM pre-construction process, Ken quickly achieved NEBOSH Construction and Fire Risk National Certificates followed by a MSc in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management. Previously an Associate Director working in the Beckenham office, Ken has led the Potter Raper London office CDM Principal Designer services delivery for over 7 years to a number of property investment fund projects both commercial and residential and to large London property estates including BP, UCL and UCLH.

In addition to chartered status with the Institute of Occupational safety and Health (CMIOSH), Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB) and the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (MCABE), Ken is a member of the Institution of Fire Engineers and holds CMaPS status with the Association for Project Safety and sits on the APS Education Committee, the National APS Regional Representatives’ Committee and the Southern Region Committee of CABE.

Ken’s diverse project portfolio includes notable ventures such as the £100m Kidbrooke Village Phase 3 project, the pre-construction phase of the £196m Sky Studios North project, the £6.9 million Avebury House project, the £40 million Tempo Maidenhead project, the £70 million 101 Cleveland Street project and a number of performing arts, environmental and heritage projects. An amateur golfer, Level 3 golf referee and choral singer, Ken is also a keen rugby fan. In his spare time, he has been an occasional mentor for University of Westminster Architectural students, and is a Trustee for Sports Aid (Scotland), a Guide for Scottish Blind Golf and a charity fundraiser.
