Our Story
Founded in 1970 by the late Gerry Potter and Mike Raper, we have continued to grow our Construction Consultancy and are proud of our continued success, quality service and outstanding reputation we have built.
1970
The Potter Raper Partnership is setup and based in our first office on Wickham Road, Beckenham.
1980 - 1984
In 1980, the company opens up a second office in Colchester and later on in 1984, moves the Beckenham office to the current building.
1990
In 1990, Potter Raper opens the doors to it's new London office.
1996 - 1998
The team expands its range of services to include Employers Agent and Building Surveying.
2000 - 2009
A further expansion of our services to include Project Management, Health, Safety & Environmental, Clerk of Works, Fund/Bank Monitoring and CAD
2015
Potter Raper launches it's first new Women Informal Networking (WIN) event which have now become the must-attend gatherings for women in the construction industry.
2015
Potter Raper also launches it's first employee conference which is now an annual event and a highlight in the Potter Raper calendar.
2017 - 2021
Potter Raper opens its doors to the Brighton office in 2017 and the Cambridge office in 2021. It also becomes a limited company in 2019.
2022 - 2026
In 2022 Potter Raper becomes an Employee Owned Tust (EOT). The company also expands it services to include Drone services and Collaborations & Partnerships.
