We’re delighted that the Farmstead Road development in Bellingham has been shortlisted for The Pineapples 2026 Awards in the Healthy Homes category.
Delivered for Phoenix Community Housing and designed by Metropolitan Workshop, the scheme provides 24 high‑quality, energy‑efficient affordable homes, all built to the Passivhaus Low Energy Building Standard. The development draws on the character of the historic Bellingham Estate while significantly increasing residential density through thoughtful, sustainable design.
We supported the project as Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveyor, Clerk of Works and Principal Designer (CDM), overseeing cost planning, contract administration, health and safety coordination and regular site inspections to ensure quality, compliance and strong sustainability performance.
This scheme forms part of a wider Passivhaus‑led regeneration programme in Lewisham, helping to deliver long‑term energy efficiency, reduced fuel costs and healthier homes for residents.
Congratulations to everyone involved. Winners will be announced on 22 April 2026.
