A new outdoor learning landscape has been successfully delivered for Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST) at South Hampstead Junior School, providing enhanced outdoor learning and play facilities for pupils in time for the start of the new academic year.
The scheme has now been handed over and is fully operational for pupils and staff. The completed landscape features bespoke planters and seating, new play and learning facilities, upgraded storage provision and improved paving throughout the area, creating a more engaging and flexible outdoor environment.
Our Role
We provided Project Management services for GDST, coordinating the design, procurement and delivery process with the contractor, Eden London UK Ltd, and landscape architect BD Landscapes. The project was delivered within the school holiday period, ensuring minimal disruption to the school.
A Five-Year Refurbishment Programme
The outdoor learning landscape represents the final phase of a five-year programme of refurbishment works across South Hampstead Junior School. Each phase was carefully planned and delivered during school holiday periods, enabling the school to remain fully operational while progressively enhancing its facilities and learning environment.
