Nine Projects. Eleven Shortlistings. One Big Night at the O2.
We are delighted to hear that the project we submitted, Hart Road, a 44-home development with Legal & General Affordable Homes in Thundersley, Essex, has been shortlisted in two categories at the Inside Housing Development Awards 2026:
- Best Affordable Housing Development – Suburban
- Best Shared Ownership Development – Rural/Suburban
The awards celebrate outstanding residential developments across the UK over the past year, recognising the very best in delivery, innovation and partnerships. The judges read more than 300 entries this year, a record for the awards.
We acted as Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveyor and Clerk of Works on Hart Road.
Hart Road is one of nine schemes our teams have helped deliver that feature on this year’s shortlist, with eleven shortlistings across nine categories. Together they show the range of work we do for housing associations, local authorities and developers across London, Essex and Cambridge.
Regeneration
Tustin Estate Phase 1 for the London Borough of Southwark, where we acted as Quantity Surveyor, is shortlisted for Best Regeneration Project – 21M+ London and South East. Aylesborough Close in Cambridge, delivered for Cambridge Investment Partnership with our team as Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveyor and Clerk of Works, is shortlisted twice: Best Regeneration Project – Up to 21M and Best Affordable Housing Development – Urban Up to 21M. Highgate Road, where we were Clerk of Works for Origin Housing, joins it in the Up to 21M regeneration category.
New homes and neighbourhoods
Lexden Gardens, the redevelopment of the former Essex County Hospital site in Colchester for Essex Housing, is shortlisted for Best Development – Urban 100+ Homes, with our team as Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor and CDM Principal Designer. Summerstown for Wandle, where we were Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveyor and CDM Principal Designer, is shortlisted for Best Development – Urban 0-100 Homes, and Church Elm Lane for Major Commercial Property, where we were Health and Safety Advisor, for Best Affordable Housing Development – Urban Up to 21M.
Homes that support wellbeing
Farmstead Road for Phoenix Community Housing, where we were Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveyor and Clerk of Works, is shortlisted for Best Healthy Homes Development.
Long-term partnership
Our multi-discipline work on the Royal Borough of Greenwich capital works programme, covering lead building surveying, contract administration, quantity surveying, clerk of works and principal designer services, is shortlisted for Best Partnership – 500+ Homes.

Looking ahead
We will be attending the Inside Housing Development Awards ceremony on Tuesday 24th November 2026 at the InterContinental O2 on the Greenwich Peninsula, London. Organised by Inside Housing, the evening brings together developers, housing associations, local authorities, contractors and consultants to recognise outstanding projects, innovative thinking and the people making a real difference in housing development. The ceremony follows a drinks reception and dinner, and winners will be announced on the night.
The awards form part of Housing Week, London (23rd to 26th November), which brings together thousands of professionals from across housing, government, investment and development, and this year supports charity partner LandAid in its work to end youth homelessness.
