Millers Quay, East Docks

Delivering High-Quality Build-to-Rent Living as Part of Liverpool’s Transformational Waterfront Regeneration

Specialism: Regeneration and Mixed-Use

Services: Due Diligence & Bank/Fund Monitoring

Client: Pension Insurance Corporation

Contract Value: £96m

Millers Quay is a flagship Build-to-Rent (BTR) development forming a key part of the transformative Wirral Waters masterplan. Comprising six thoughtfully designed blocks, the scheme delivers 500 one and two-bedroom apartments, including 100 affordable homes, reflecting Liverpool’s industrial dockland heritage while fostering a vibrant, high-density, and sustainable community.

The development sits at the heart of Wirral Waters’ comprehensive 500-acre brownfield redevelopment, a former dockland site that Peel L&P is regenerating through a 30-year masterplan. This ambitious strategy aims to create the largest regeneration project in the UK, generating up to 20,000 permanent jobs and establishing a thriving, mixed-use waterfront destination.

We supported the Pension Insurance Corporation, the sole investor in Millers Quay, providing Due Diligence and Fund Monitoring services to ensure the success of this flagship BTR project.
