Potter Raper attends Housing 2026
We were pleased to attend Housing 2026 – Uniting the sector. Making lives better, held in Manchester. As one of the UK’s largest annual housing sector events, Housing 2026 brings together housing associations, local authorities, developers, contractors and consultants to explore the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of housing delivery.
Exploring the Future of Housing
The event featured a wide range of sessions and discussions covering topics including:
- Housing supply, funding and investment strategies
- The future of social and affordable housing delivery
- Building safety, compliance and the evolving regulatory landscape
- Decarbonisation, retrofit and sustainability in housing stock
- Procurement, supply chain management and contractor relationships
- Community impact and the role of social value in housing development
The event also provided an excellent networking opportunity, bringing together professionals from across the housing and construction sectors to share experience and explore best practice.
Representing Potter Raper
Our Associate Directors, Stephen Medhurst and Mitchell Allain, attended on behalf of Potter Raper on 23rd and 24th June. Both bring significant experience delivering housing schemes across the public and social housing sectors.
The event provided a valuable opportunity to engage with industry peers, deepen our understanding of the current housing landscape and gather practical insight that will continue to inform the way we approach housing projects, client partnerships and sector engagement.
A Creative Presence at the Event
One of the memorable sights at Housing 2026 was the LFS Ltd Fire Safety exhibition bus – a converted double-decker dedicated to raising awareness of the passive fire safety industry and encouraging new talent into the sector. It was great to see the Potter Raper logo featured on the bus, among other industry partners. It initiative was eye-catching, creative and entirely fitting for an event where building safety was firmly on the agenda.
