We’re delighted to announce that Matt Sycamore has successfully passed his Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and achieved Chartered Quantity Surveyor status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
This achievement marks an important milestone in Matt’s professional journey and reflects the commitment, perseverance, and expertise demonstrated throughout the chartership process. Achieving RICS status recognises a high standard of technical knowledge and industry expertise and represents an important step in continued professional development.
Matt brings over 6 years’ experience providing Quantity Surveying and Bank Monitoring services within the private and public sector. Throughout his career, he has worked across a broad range of projects, demonstrating versatility and expertise across residential, higher education, retail and commercial developments. His experience spans projects ranging from smaller residential schemes valued at £500,000 through to large-scale retail, commercial and leisure developments with values reaching £90 million.
Matt has developed specialist expertise across cost estimating and cost planning, interim valuations, financial reporting, change control, preparation of pricing documents, tendering and bank monitoring services. He has experience delivering both Traditionally Procured and Design & Build schemes and has strong knowledge of JCT forms of contract. Matt also brings specialist capability in areas including JCT Contracts and CostX.
With sector experience across Residential, Fit Out, University and Commercial projects, Matt continues to support clients through collaborative working, commercial insight and proactive project delivery.
