Meadows Community Centre

We are acting as Contract Administrator for Cambridge City Council on the refurbishment of the kitchen at the Meadows Community Centre, a well-used community facility serving residents across the city.

Practical upgrades for a busy community space

The scope of works includes upgrading the kitchen ceiling and lighting to achieve 30-minute fire resistance, along with electrical works to support a new air conditioning installation. Wall finishes are also being reviewed, with Cambridge City Council agreeing to the use of Trovex in place of the original specification at no additional cost, helping keep the project on budget.

Supporting Cambridge’s community infrastructure

Community centres such as the Meadows play an important role in local life, and projects of this kind demonstrate our commitment to supporting public sector clients with practical, cost-effective contract administration, regardless of project scale.
