Clerk of Works: Independent quality assurance that protects your project

In today’s construction environment, quality assurance and compliance are no longer optional. With the Building Safety Act raising expectations around accountability, record-keeping and long-term asset performance, many clients are asking the same questions: How do we make sure what’s being built is actually what was specified?

One of the most effective ways to safeguard a project is through independent site inspection. Poor workmanship, missed details, and deviations from specification can quickly escalate into defects, delays, and additional costs. A Clerk of Works provides an experienced presence on site, someone whose sole focus is ensuring that works are delivered correctly, safely, and to the required standards.

At Potter Raper, our Clerk of Works team support projects from early stages through to handover, helping clients reduce risk, maintain quality and protect programme and budget.
