Our director David Spiller was part of the working group that shaped the findings, bringing our experience of public sector housing procurement directly to the table.

Why we were glad to be involved
Procurement complexity is something our teams encounter on real schemes, week in, week out. The gap between what housing should cost and what it ends up costing is not always explained by construction, it is often shaped long before a contractor sets foot on site. Being part of a working group that examined this properly, drew on evidence from across the sector, and produced clear, practical recommendations felt like exactly the kind of contribution Potter Raper should be making.
