🎉 Proud to announce completion at York Rise for Affordable Housing

York Rise in Orpington has now been successfully completed, delivering 35 new affordable homes for the London Borough of Bromley.

The development comprises a new modular apartment block alongside modular terraced houses, providing 14 one-bedroom, 17 two-bedroom and 4 three-bedroom homes. The scheme includes wheelchair-accessible units with blue badge parking, as well as 65 cycle spaces, and a play area with swings and a slide.

A Sustainable Development

Sustainability has been central to the project, with solar panels to the apartment block and air source heat pumps to the terraced houses helping to reduce operational energy use and lower running costs for residents. Two EV charging points further support low-carbon travel.

Tenure and Community Provision

The development delivers a balanced mix of shared ownership and social rent homes, supporting Bromley’s long-term affordable housing strategy and meeting a range of local needs.

Our Role

We provided Clerk of Works services on this scheme, overseeing quality assurance throughout the modular installation and construction programme to support a smooth and efficient delivery.

Delivering Long-Term Value

York Rise demonstrates our commitment to supporting affordable, sustainable residential development for local authorities. Using modern methods of construction, the scheme delivers high-quality, energy-efficient homes and creates a lasting asset for the Bromley community.
