Great to see work progressing well at the former Essex County Hospital site, where we’re proud to be delivering Project Management, Quantity Surveying and CDM Principal Designer services.

Led by Essex Housing Development LLP, the phased redevelopment is transforming this historic site into 120 new homes, including the restoration of the Grade II-listed main hospital building.

Phase one is well underway, with 63 high-quality homes currently under construction. It’s fantastic to see this milestone project taking shape, delivering much-needed housing while preserving the site’s heritage.

We’ve been involved from early stages – advising on procurement, project phasing, and cost planning – and we’re excited to see this project evolve into a vibrant new community in the heart of Colchester.
