The works comprise the new build construction of a research and development centre comprising a rig hall for specialist engineering research, office space totalling 9,870m2. A multi-story car park and landscaping are also included in the project. The scheme has been forward funded by Legal & General and will be designed to BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standard with Net Zero targets as part of UKAEA’s long-term sustainability goals.
