We are working with Naked House on a multi-site housing programme in Enfield, providing Quantity Surveyor, Project Management, Monitoring Surveyor and Building Regulations Principal Designer (BRPD) services. Ermine Construction is the appointed contractor across all sites.
About the project
Naked House is an innovative affordable housing developer with an intentionally different model: homes are delivered with a reduced level of fit out, reducing build costs and enabling residents to personalise and complete their space over time. Naked House is not-for-profit and the scheme is supported by the Mayor of London meaning homes are discounted at least 20% from market prices, while giving residents a meaningful stake in their property from the outset.
Latest progress
Works are progressing across the sites, with Ermine Construction on site and programme being actively managed. Design reviews and change control processes are underway, and we have been appointed as BRPD across the programme. Our BRPD team is working closely with the contractor’s design team on compliance, information reviews and coordination.
Our role
We are providing integrated support across the project:
- Quantity Surveying – Managing the commercial process, including valuations, cost control, and cashflow forecasting.
- Project Management – Chairing monthly site meetings, overseeing programme delivery, coordinating design submissions and approvals, and maintaining project governance.
- Monitoring Surveyor – Providing independent monitoring services, overseeing progress and reporting on behalf of the funder.
- Building Regulations Principal Designer services – Providing compliance oversight, reviewing design information, and liaising with building control to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
