The Grange Estate in the London Borough of Barnet has reached completion, with two new residential blocks handed over to client Barnet Homes. The scheme delivers 16 new affordable homes across the High Road and Central Avenue sites, forming part of the wider regeneration of this established estate between Finchley and East Finchley.

Latest Progress

The High Road building, comprising eight affordable homes across four storeys, achieved Practical Completion in February 2026. The Central Avenue building, delivering a further eight affordable homes across three storeys, followed in June 2026. Both sections have now been handed over, with snagging, commissioning and final sign-off completed by contractor Stack London Limited.

Our Role

We worked closely with Barnet Homes to manage progress, cost control and quality across both sites through to Practical Completion. We provided Quantity Surveyor, Employer’s Agent and CDM – Principal Designer services.

Looking Ahead

With both blocks now complete, attention turns to monitoring the building through the 12-months defects liability period. The new homes provide much-needed affordable housing to the borough, delivered through a scheme shaped by meaningful engagement with residents across the wider Grange Estate.
