We’re proud to be a partner of Happy London, a new initiative by Future of London exploring how the built environment can promote wellbeing, play and community connection.

At Potter Raper, we’re passionate about delivering places that not only function well but feel good to be in – spaces that bring people together, reflect diverse communities, and promote happiness in everyday life.

The programme’s first site visit takes place on 20th May at Tower Court, an award-winning development in Hackney that we’re proud to have been involved in. Our Director, Tom Rose, will be speaking on the day. Tower Court provides 132 high-quality, mixed-tenure homes, shaped through extensive community engagement to foster a strong sense of belonging and wellbeing. Playful landscaping – including bridges and a human sundial – and tailored features for the local Charedi community highlight how thoughtful design can truly enhance everyday life.

Over the next six months, we’ll be part of a series of conversations and collaborations spotlighting the places, projects, and people shaping a happier, healthier London. Tickets for Tower Court are now sold out, but you can join the waiting list here: https://www.futureoflondon.org.uk/living-well-by-design-field-trip-to-tower-court/
