Potter Raper Partnership         fits the bill...

Hazelhurst Court

A new Extra Care Facility has now completed at Hazelhurst Court in Beckenham Hill.

This scheme involved the design and construction of a 60-unit Extra Care Facility together with external works on land adjacent to existing social-rented accommodation for Phoenix Community Housing.

The site contains two blocks; one courtyard and one standard block design. The scheme is on target to achieve Code Level 4 for the residential units and is built to the principles of achieving BREEAM “Very Good” rating for the communal facilities located on the ground floor.

Procured through a Two-Stage Design and Build approach, our Cost Consultants and Project Management teams were involved from project inception as Pre-Contract Advisers, and Cost Consultants co-ordinating the pre-planning design and planning application. Involvement in the design development included:

  • Value management
  • Provision of procurement advice
  • Procuring and coordinating surveys
  • Preparation of the tender documentation and reports
  • Negotiation of the contract terms
  • Negotiation of the second-stage price
  • Provision of validation reports

Potter Raper Partnership is committed to their employees, the local community and sustaining the local environment. In our CSR policy we aim to illustrate the areas of business that we target in order to maximise our employee satisfaction, limit the effect we have on the environment and enhance the local environment by providing services and funding for the community. We believe that by taking a greater responsibility for the effect we have on the environment and ensuring that we work in a manner that takes the local community into consideration, we will actively reduce the impact we, our clients and suppliers have on our surroundings.
