Potter Raper Partnership         fits the bill...

Lea Bridge House

The refurbishment of an existing 10-storey hostel tower and construction of a 4-storey extension to provide 106 additional bedrooms is underway in Leyton, London. The scheme will provide 229 homeless people based in East London with accommodation.

The scheme, known as Lea Bridge House, is run by the Paradigm Housing Group with Potter Raper Partnership being employed as the Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveyors, Principal Designers and Party Wall Surveyors.

Lea Bridge House is expected to achieve a BREEAM "Very Good" rating in accordance with the planning permission.

The project has seen the demolition of 2 single-storey annex buildings, the construction of a new 3 to 4-storey accommodation block, and the existing 10-storey block upgraded to include relocation of the office and reception, essential repairs to services and new cladding, windows and roof.

Each accommodation room has a shower room pod with shower, WC and wash hand basin. With a range of pod types, these cubicles have been installed with minimal disruption and quality has been guaranteed prior to installation.

Potter Raper Partnership is committed to their employees, the local community and sustaining the local environment. In our CSR policy we aim to illustrate the areas of business that we target in order to maximise our employee satisfaction, limit the effect we have on the environment and enhance the local environment by providing services and funding for the community. We believe that by taking a greater responsibility for the effect we have on the environment and ensuring that we work in a manner that takes the local community into consideration, we will actively reduce the impact we, our clients and suppliers have on our surroundings.
